At work, so I gotta keep this short. This new remix from Angger Dimas sounds like straight fire on the main beat. I'm a bit skeptical on the dubstep part at the end here, but it sounds like it's probably part of the break and not another main section so I'm ok with it. Definitely looking forward to the full track. Check it out!

I felt like the electro scene had been really weak for a good number of months now until just the last few weeks when a bunch of great bangers dropped in a very short span. This is one of them. John Dahlback has always set himself very apart from other Swedish artists, and his latest track "Pressure" is no exception. The deep, growling bass drives this bad boy forward from the moment it hits, and by the time it's all done, you might be out of breath. This track is great way to get your weekend started right. DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE - WAKANDA

Good morning! Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike released this preview of their new track "Wakanda" this morning, and man does it sound like a monster! Swedish House Mafia has been featuring this track in gigs throughout their 'One Last Tour' and the response has been huge. It's got a big electro stomping beat to it with some kinda weird but cool tribal chanting vocals. The track is set to be released on February 11th on Axwell's Axtone record label. Hello everyone! It took me a couple of weeks, but I've finally finished putting together my top tracks of 2012! These are my favorite tracks from last year, and with the exception of my track of the year, they are in no particular order. I did not want to rank them simply because there's so much variety of styles in here that trying to make an objective decision on which is better is just silly. These are simply my 20 favorite tracks of the year. Popularity was not a factor in selections. I considered things like artistry, originality, emotional impact, and just my own personal enjoyment. My friend Eugene Veltman, better known as Huge Euge, came through yet again with a massively raging mashup.  There's enough mix of styles in here to appeal to a lot of people.  It's got some electro, some melody, some vocals...you're gonna love it.  Also, congratulations to Eugene for recently winning the Richard Durand vs. The World competition's North American leg.  His song with Richard will be released May 21st on Blackhole Recordings so be sure to check it out!!

Can't write much because I'm in class right now.  Just check out this massive electro rager from Adam K and JELO that came out a couple of weeks ago.  Adam K is one of the most talented and consistently awesome producers on the planet so it's no surprise this track is awesome.  Enjoy.  Buy on Beatport.

SING2ME

Pretty good remix here from Britsh producer Occhi Marroni.  He takes this pure progressive track and gives it an electro edge with a sort of Dutchy lead.  Accompanying the lead are a solid kick an tribal style percussion.  Enjoy this remix and go check out the rest of Occhi's tracks on Soundcloud!

NO BEEF

Woooo!!  This track is dope as hell.  Mr. Fuzz really warped this track into something completely new and unlike the original vocal mix, the vocals actually contribute a lot to the song here.  Enjoy!

DAYS AT SEA/LES BAIGNOTS (PREVIEW)

Hey everyone.  Got an email today from Aron Scott with previews for these 2 new tracks of his, and I'm digging them quite a bit.  The first one, "Days At Sea", gives us great little melody in Aron's progressive style, but the main beat, which I love, is distinctly electro-ish.  I really haven't heard something like this from Aron before, and it's great to see him diversifying his style.  The next track is "Les Baignots", and it's style and feel differs greatly from "Days At Sea".  Here, Aron creates a very gentle, almost fragile, progressive house track   .  It's really quite subdued, and I actually find it to be equally as relaxing and soothing and good for just chilling out as it is for banging at a club, which is pretty rare and unique.  These songs will be released on April 16th on Wormland Music's sub-label I LIKE THAT!  Enjoy!

END OF TIME (DJ MARQUEE REMIX)

Hey everyone.  The Beyonce remix contest has been officially over for about a week now and unfortunately I did not win.  But I still had a strong showing and everyone's support was greatly appreciated.  With the contest done I've now made my remix available for download so get your copy!  Also, I'm doing another remix contest and should have the track completed by the end of the week so be ready.  Thanks again everyone and enjoy the remix.

AFSHEEN MASHUPS

Hey guys.  I recently got a sent a big pack of mash-up bootlegs from producer AFSheen, and they're definitely not too shabby.  I want to highlight my two favorites of the bunch.  The first combines Nero's "Promises" with Michael Woods's "Bullet", and I found myself pretty surprised that these two tracks worked quite well together.  I would've liked to see this mash-up be a bit longer, though, and use the full "Bullet" track, but it's still very good.  The next one can only be described as "awesomely cheesy" lol.  It's a mash-up of Tiesto's "Maximal Crazy" with the 80s rock classic "Final Countdown" by Europe.  He went with the name "Final Maximal" as the official mash-up name though I'm choosing to call it "Maximal Countdown" because I think it sounds better.  Enjoy these two, and if you want to check out the full pack of mash-ups I've provided the link for that as well.
