Vato Gonzalez is back with the second edition of the Army of Bastards mixtape series. If you missed the first one, the whole concept is to make a mixtape exclusively using original tracks submitted by members of the VatoGonzalez.com online community with a single track from Vato to lead it off. ADRIEN MEZSI RADIO FG PODCAST AND BOOTLEG PACK

This here is the latest Radio FG podcast from Adrien Mezsi, and he uses it to show off a bunch of his new bootlegs including some from his latest bootleg pack. Some of these mash-ups he did are really great. In particular, I really enjoy the second and third tracks in the mix "Bang Your Head Alone" and "End of the Troll". The back and forth contrast between the melodic vocal parts with the heavy hitting electro drops is really great and really gets the energy going. It also doesn't hurt that he weaved in the "Call it what you wanna call it, I'm a fucking alcoholic" from Tim Berg's "Alcoholic" which is always pretty awesome. It's awesome to see someone with notoriety take the time to really give some unknowns a chance to shine and gain exposure. MICHAEL BRUN MAY 2012 MIXTAPE

Hot new mixtape from Michael Brun. This features an exclusive first look at his latest remix for Batawi's "Bring the Fun" and includes his latest release "Synergy" on Phazing Records. I like this guys mixing style a lot because it's similar to my own. He doesn't change the song every 1-2 minutes like some crackhead w/ ADD.  He lets the songs shine on their own and keeps his transitions smooth and organic. Very well done. Enjoy!

2011 MOOMBAHTON YEAR MIX

This is the dopest 2011 year mix hands down. Why? Because as far as I'm concerned 2011 was the year of the moombahton, and this mix is just over an hour of the hottest, craziest moombahton beats on the planet. Done for Beatjunks 2011 year mixes, it was the only mix they featured that was exclusively moombahton. Huge props to DJ/producer MiniMaxx for putting together a seriously vicious mix!!
