ACTION HERO

I got an email from Yeah!/Dish records with this great EP from Francophilippe.  I'm not a big fan of the remixes, but the two originals on here are absolutely banging!  The title track "Action Hero" is a super funky, disco house smash with a really tight kick, groovy ass bassline, and lots of awesome little stabs and chopped up vocals.  "Monochrome Scanners" is similarly funky and groovy and breaks a bit more from the traditional four-to-the-floor kick pattern.  Bottom line, you will definitely find yourself bobbing your head, dancing in your chain, and enjoying these tunes to the max.  Take a listen in the Soundcloud player and then go grab a free download from Yeah!/Dish's Facebook page!

CHANGE THE LIGHT

Ok so I'm kind of embarrassed because David Berrie sent me this track back in December, and I'm just now posting it lol =X.  In any case, this track is soooooo good.  Absolutely beautiful melody and a great bassline.  It also has some of the nicest, smoothest vocals I have ever heard.  Seriously, this is a vocal performance for the ages by Collin Mcloughlin.  Released on Ultra Records, this is track is a surefire dancefloor killer!  Dave was also nice enough to share a free download through Zippyshare, which is very cool of him, but nonetheless if you want to put some money in the guy's pockets here's the Beatport release.  Enjoy guys!

NEW TRACKS FROM DJ SANTA

Hey guys.  My friend Alex, a.k.a. DJ Santa (pictured above), just put out some bomb tracks.  These are both collaborations with DJ/producer Wess, and they're both very nice.  These guys put together some great beats with nice, exciting builds leading into some lovely progressive melodies.  If you like Avicii or Alesso or Max Vangeli & AN21 (or most any other Swedish producer really lol), you're sure to enjoy these songs.  Anyone in the NYC can easily go DJ Santa live, as he regularly DJs some of the nicest clubs in the city including Greenhouse and most recently La Pomme.  Enjoy guys!

ALIVE & DANGEROUS

Check it out guys.  Adrien Mezsi just dropped this BIG bootleg and it's a real rager!  I'm not even sure how many different tracks are used in here, but the drop is real bomb, the vocals flow in and out well, and you are going to like it haha.  Adrien has been producing some really great stuff lately so show him some support on his pages after you check this out.  Enjoy!

THE ONE RESURRECTION

Michael Calfan's "Resurrection" (most specifically Axwell's edit) was one of the biggest hits and best songs put out last year with a positively hypnotic melody, driving bassline, and big sweeping builds.  Mauri & Mora have now given us a new take on the track by adding the vocals from Daniel Bedingfield's "The One", which was a big hit a few years back.  The two songs compliment each other very well, and you're sure to be sucked in from the moment Daniel's voice enters laid over the intro.  You might even get goosebumps when the break hits, it's that good.  Enjoy guys!

RATTLE (PARTY HATS BOOTLEG)

Hey guys.  My friend Jesse and his boy Ravi B, together known as Party Hats, made this sick remix of the Bingo Players "Rattle".  They did this as part of Beatport's remix competition for the track, and they need your support!  Their mix is a big electro mix with a killer lead, a banging kick drum, and great sampling of the original.  These guys hail from Rutgers, and they've definitely got the skills to go far.  Check out the track and go vote for their remix in the competition! I have no idea who this DjShadin is, but he came through with a great bootleg mash up here.  First off, Fedde Le Grand and Nicky Romero's track "Freaky" is pretty awesome as is, and it's a great compliment and transition to go into the Bingo Players remix of "Middle Finger" for the drop which is just really funky electro awesomeness.  Enjoy the track guys!
